Automatización Ganadera S.L. (Augan) establishes itself as a technological benchmark in the primary sector after reaching the final phase of the 19th edition of the EmprendeXXI Awards in Aragón. This award, driven by CaixaBank through DayOne, co-granted by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism through ENISA, and supported by the Aragón Emprende Foundation, aims to recognise the most innovative technology-based companies with the highest growth potential in the territory.
The Aragonese startup was selected from among the 31 applications submitted in the region thanks to its development of digital twins for livestock farms. Its technological solutions, based on IoT sensors, are designed to automate farms, optimise decision-making and increase production efficiency through the integration of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics.
Augan's control architecture incorporates farm sensors and livestock sensors connected in real time to monitor critical variables such as air quality (CO2), gas emissions (NH3) and feed levels in silos. All this information is centrally and easily accessed in its swine app / swine application, a mobile and web platform that allows comprehensive management of the farm from any device, guaranteeing full operability even in isolated rural environments or with limited connectivity.
This recognition at the EmprendeXXI Awards reaffirms Augan's projection in the national agro-biotechnological ecosystem, demonstrating that the deployment of advanced technology will be the strategic pillar for the future of the Spanish agri-food sector.
